X-less VirtualBox OSE
It’s possible now. Still in testing phase though but it’ll be surely interesting and there goes my final (non-experimental/fun) reason of staying with OpenSolaris. VNC is rather crappy but it’s much better than compiling/installing X just for that one program.

ed2k for some OSes
ed2k – A program computing eDonkey link (ed2k://), or only the Hash/Id (à la md5).

???
Profit!
There’s also this but I prefer … Continue reading

Installing Danbooru on FreeBSD 7.0
Warning: this post is kind of outdated. Even though there’s no problem using it I don’t recommend following this any more.
Danbooru is basically a web gallery software with its main advantage in its advanced tagging system.
However, it’s written in one … Continue reading
FreeBSD and OpenBSD: comparison (I)
This comparison is not really fair from my POV since I only fully use and manage FreeBSD for like several months with its latest version only 2 weeks or so when I have used OpenBSD for at least one year.
I’ll … Continue reading
