moefetch 0.2.1!
After few hours messing with Notepad++, Solaris’ Bash and tools, FreeBSD’ sh and tools and of course with help from folks at #bash, moefetch 0.2.1 is released.
Since this is the first (second) release, there’s no changelog.

Hayate no Gotoku Season 2 Banzai o/
Finally caught up the latest episode. o/
Win episode is WIN.
What’s with Saki?
Most of hits to this site come from search term ‘Saki 13′. Apparently this is the most successful Gonzo series after Druaga (S1)?
Anyway if you really want to watch it subbed you may want to pay CR to get early … Continue reading
pam_mysql on OpenSolaris
Thanks to boredness, I tried to finish installing pam_mysql which was failed before. Here’s the tricks:

There’re still 14 more episodes of this yuri-disguised-as-mahjong anime. I wonder where some people get information that it’ll be 13 episodes from.
kernel26-2.6.30-5 is in core (ArchLinux)
If you happen to like combination of word ’official’ and ‘bleeding edge’, ArchLinux might be up to your liking.
It now has latest stable kernel on official (non-testing) repository.
Standard caution applies – there might be some packages not updated yet to … Continue reading
ruby/god vs python/supervisord
There is no comparison to daemontools yet because I’ve never used it. Runit seem to be running at entire different level and monit… also never tried (seems to be too complex and underpowered).
Disclaimer: in this post there’s no religion involved. … Continue reading
WRT Linux Applications Distribution Method
I think you should read this.
easy_install/Python is still worse though.
Two reasons why gem/ruby is better than easy_install/python
there is gem install, there is no easy_uninstall
almost no program uses ruby so I can install the gems to my heart content without worrying if a program will install gem from OS’ package manager
This post is related to another post … Continue reading
