pam_mysql on OpenSolaris

Thanks to boredness, I tried to finish installing pam_mysql which was failed before. Here’s the tricks:

Symlink pam_appl.h and pam_modules.h from /usr/include/security to /usr/include

Two reasons why gem/ruby is better than easy_install/python

there is gem install, there is no easy_uninstall
almost no program uses ruby so I can install the gems to my heart content without worrying if a program will install gem from OS’ package manager
